7 Websites to help you stay productive this year

If there was an award for the best procrastinator I would hands down win but unfortunately there is not so we actually have to get our head down and study. Although this is not as easy as it sounds especially when you have; Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube. So put that phone down – here are just a few websites to help you stay productive and focused this year.

7. Study Guides and Strategies’s Scheduler
In high school, time management is super important so that you know what you are doing and when you are doing it. This website is so great if you need help with that. When you set a time for everything, you become much more focused.

6. sleepyti.me
Sleep is so important before an exam because you do not want to be tired in the exam because your brain will not remember everything that you had studied. On this website all you have to do is type in the time you have to wake up and it will give you the best times to go sleep.

5. Pocket
I am super forgetful! So I never remember to write my bibliography as I go and often have to go back and search for ages through my history to find the websites I used. Now, all I have to do when I find a website is simply “pocket it” so that I can easily find it later and put it into my bibliography.

4. Anki
I am literally in love with study cards. If I have a math test I will write every formula on a study card. If I have a French exam I will write out my whole vocabulary list on study cards. I love them because they are a quick and fun way to study, they double as a game of memory match and you can put them in the pocket of your school dress. This website just helps me write my study cards a whole lot faster.

3. Tomato Timer
Study's have shown, that study cramming is way less productive than working for 45 minutes and taking a 10 minute break. Tomato timer is just a simple time that tells you when you can have a break and when you have to return to studying. I use this all the time and feel like I am remembering so many more facts.

2. My homework
This app is a great way to get organized and stay on task. The worst feeling is the stress you get when you find out you have a huge exam in a couple of hours that you have not studied for. All you have to do is write in your assignment due dates and exam times then it will send you notifications about upcoming assignments and exams on your laptop and phone

1. StayFocused
This is my favourite and least favourite at the same time. As I mentioned before I am great at procrastinating on my Tumblr and Instagram. Although this is so bad when I have to study for a math or science exam so I definitely use StayFocus. So basically all you do is type in all the websites you need to stay out of while studying and then set a time. Then you will be “blacklisted” from these sites for that set amount of time.
